Maryland wideout Stefon Diggs has always been flashy.
In a press conference with reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine, Diggs stated that he believes that he is the best wide receiver in this year’s class due to his “playmaking ability and production.” He also added that he can make an immediate impact in his rookie season.
Diggs also was officially measured today and has some of the biggest hands in this year’s draft at 10 inches. In case you missed it, Diggs posted a video on his Instagram page of himself making one-handed catches. He also was measured as having 31.25″ arms and is 6’0 and 195 pounds.
The Maryland star also said he’s been in contact with former Terrapins star wideout Torrey Smith. He added that Smith has been advising him on what type of preparations Diggs needs to be making in advance of the NFL Draft.
Diggs also has met with the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, and Washington Redskins so far.
As of right now, it appears that Diggs could be a third to fourth round pick. Obviously, his numbers at the Combine could sway teams to draft him earlier.
