Five things Maryland fans should be thankful for in 2016

Under Armour
Maryland made waves back in 2011 when they debuted their “Maryland Pride” uniforms in a national televised season opener against Miami (Fla.).
If you forget what those groundbreaking uniforms looked like, here’s a refresher.
Under Armour has been a staple in College Park ever since. After all, Kevin Plank was a walk-on at Maryland, so it’s not a big surprise that the clothing giant adopted the Terps as their flagship school.
Over the years, Maryland has spotted several different uniforms that were sleek and eye-popping. There’s been the Black Ops, White Ops, and 1961 throwbacks just to name a few.
Most recently, Maryland debuted their new Red Ops uniforms against Ohio State. While the Terps lost that game 62-3, the uniforms were majestic and colorful.
Uniforms may not seem like the most important thing in the world, but recruits really take to it. Young men also want to look good and if the uniform combinations are flashy, it may be a factor in a specific player’s recruitment.
Under Armour also provides fans with some of the coolest merchandise around. That’s definitely not something that all fan bases can say.
