The Maryland women's basketball team is fighting for its spot in the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. The Terrapins are currently sixth in the Big 10 with a 16-10 overall record and 8-7 in the conference.
Maryland has a chance to make it into the tournament without winning the Big 10, but it is going to be close. The Terrapins need to win in order to secure their spot in the tournament, but they can help their cause if they win a majority of their final games.
The Big 10 Women's Basketball Tournament will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Target Center from March 6 through March 10. The first four seeds of the tournament will receive a double-bye and a ticket straight to the quarterfinals.
