Four Maryland players received invites to the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis at the end of the month. Those four players are offensive linemen Gottlieb Ayedze and Delmar Glaze and defensive backs Beau Brade and Tarheed Still.

A name that Terrapin fans are probably seeing isn't there is quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa, the brother of Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The Hawaii native did not receive an invite to this year's Combine so he will have to wait to showcase his talents on Maryland's pro day.

The NFL Combine will run from February 26 through March 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The 321 players who were invited to the multi-day event will be put through a series of physical, mental, and medical tests to make sure they have what it takes to play in the NFL.

The Combine is a place for players to showcase thier talents and prove to NFL teams that they belong at the next level. Players have the ability to raise their draft stock but also risk lowering it as well if they are not at their best.

Of the four Maryland players invited to the Combine, defensive back Beau Brade has the best shot as going the highest in his draft class. Right now he is projected fifth-round pick, but could also improve that number with his performance in the combine.

Delmar Glaze has also shown he could be a late-round draft pick and with the number of injuries sustained by quarterbacks this season, offensive linemen might be the position taken in the draft the most this year.

Maryland football fans can watch their favorite former players compete to make it to the next level on NFL Network or the NFL app.
