Ultimately, it’s going to come down to the ability of this Terp’s squad to play smart, disciplined football if they plan to win this game. If they do? They have a chance to beat Penn State for the 2nd time straight (counting COVID-19 season included). Will they do it?

The Terps have yet to really run the ball consistently this season, so this could be a difference-maker for the squad if the staff is dedicated to doing the job between the tackles. The run game opens up a world of other possibilities for an offense that still has a ton of weapons offensively. I think the Terrapins do enough in the run game to allow those possibilities to happen. I also think that the Terps defense will do just enough to disrupt the Nittany Lion’s offense. The end result will be a nerve-racking but happy day in College park for Maryland Football, and another step closer to Bowl Eligibility.

Final Score:  Maryland 28 – Penn State – 20
