Big Ten Power Rankings: Lackluster offense dooms Terps

The Big Ten saw very opposite ends of the spectrum regarding two of its top teams this past weekend.

Penn State came out on the winning end against Northwestern, which was expected. However, Michigan wasn’t so lucky in their tussle with rival Michigan State under the lights.

Most of the other results were expected, but it also showed how close the conference title race is going to be down the stretch this season. It also appears that quite a few Big Ten teams will be going bowling this holiday season.

Maryland’s loss at the hands of Ohio State was expected. It just was a surprise to see the offense muster absolutely nothing.
