Maryland Football: Five things to watch for Maryland/Ohio State
By Chris Bengel
The Maryland football team definitely needed to come out of Minnesota with a win last week.
Just seven days later, the Terrapins travel to one of the most difficult places to place in the country in “the Shoe” to take on Ohio State.
Much like the Terps, the Buckeyes have gone through some adversity so far this season. Both only have one loss on the year with Ohio State falling to Oklahoma and Maryland suffering a crushing defeat at the hands of Central Florida.
Maryland and Ohio State are among the five teams in the Big Ten East Division that are currently undefeated in conference play. Only Indiana and Rutgers have yet to win a game against a Big Ten foe.
Both Maryland and Ohio State boast an abundance of playmakers, but are drastically different in many ways. These are among the most lethal offenses in the Big Ten even with the Terps losing quarterbacks Kasim Hill and Tyrrell Pigrome for the season.
Let’s take a closer look at this matchup and what fans should be keeping an eye on this weekend.
