Maryland needs a win in the worst way

A 2-1 record may not sound like the worst thing in the world for Maryland, especially with a win over Texas in tow.

Still, the Terps had a horrific showing against Central Florida and it needs to be forgotten.

Maryland obviously isn’t going to get that result taken off their schedule. However, the team needs to put it behind them and show the Big Ten that they can still win football games.

With a tough Big Ten slate ahead, the Terps are going to need to rack up as many wins as they can. Maryland has Ohio State and Wisconsin over the next three weeks following Minnesota.

Especially with expected struggles under center, it could be a very important game that Maryland needs to win. The Terps definitely need to get Bortenschlager going if he’s going to be the guy.

If Bortenschlager struggles, Caleb Henderson could see the field if he’s healthy enough to go.
