Maryland Football: What we know about the Terps after two games

The Maryland football team has recorded two very impressive wins to start off the 2017 season.

With two games in the books and the bye week underway, what exactly do we know about the Terrapins?

Maryland entered the 2017 season with not a ton of high expectations. After all, the Terps have one of the toughest schedules in college football, including opening at Texas.

Well, Maryland certainly started off on the right foot as they jumped all over Texas after brushing off a pick six to begin the game. The Terps topped the Longhorns 51-41 and the game could’ve been a rout if not for two special teams scores.

It wasn’t a huge surprise to see Maryland defeat Towson this past Saturday. However, the manner in which they did it was extremely impressive.

The Terps jumped out to a 28-7 lead at halftime and absolutely exploded in the second half. That continued even when the second team saw some playing time.
