Sean Davis

Current Team: Pittsburgh Steelers
2016 Stats: 70 tackles/1.5 sacks/five defended passes/one interception
The Skinny: Davis was part of Maryland’s three-man draft class in 2016. Pittsburgh had a glaring need for help in the secondary that hasn’t really been filled since star safety Troy Polamalu left the Steel City. Davis ended up starting 14 games and really was an asset to the Steeler secondary. He had six games in which he registered five or more tackles.

Davis also proved his worth to helping to stop the run. His hard-hitting mentality certainly embodies what the Steelers organization has stood for over the years. There’s very few guys that are going to outwork Davis in terms of his effort on the gridiron. Davis should be the starter at strong safety once again and will look to help lead Pittsburgh to the playoffs.
