The secondary could be very good

In recent years, the Maryland secondary has centered around cornerback William Likely.

Now, the jack-of-all-trades is hoping to be selected in the 2017 NFL Draft. Luckily, the Terps have a very talented group to help ease that loss.

J.C. Jackson has had a full offseason under his belt and RaVon Davis and Tino Ellis are also going to be expected to produce. Davis won’t suit up on Saturday due to ankle/foot injuries.

At the safety position, Elijah Daniels, Qwuantrezz Knight, and Darnell Savage Jr. all looked strong last season. Savage made a smooth transition from cornerback early in the year.

This definitely has the potential to be one of the best defensive backfields in the Big Ten. Saturday will be a good chance to see just how good they really are.
