Maryland is set to host their Red-White Spring Game on Saturday afternoon.

The annual game provides the first glimpse of the Terrapins for the upcoming 2017 season. All the action begins at 12:30 p.m. and will be streamed on BTN2Go for those that can’t make it out to College Park.

Maryland is coming off a season in which they went 6-7 and lost to Boston College in the Quick Lane Bowl. It was the first season under first-time head coach D.J. Durkin.

The Terps jumped out to a 4-0 start, but dropped six of their final eight games. They did manage to defeat Rutgers 31-13 in the regular season finale to gain bowl eligibility.

The offseason brought many changes on the Maryland coaching staff.

Mike London left the program to take the head coaching job at Howard. London had previously served as the Associate Head Coach and defensive line coach in his lone season in College Park.

London was replaced by Kentucky’s Jimmy Brumbaugh, who serves as the co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach. He served as the Wildcats’ defensive line coach for the past four seasons.

Fordham offensive coordinator and former Maryland offensive lineman Tyler Bowen became the team’s new offensive line coach. He replaces Dave Borbely, who will now serve as a Special Assistant to the Head Coach.

On Thursday, wide receivers coach Chris Beatty was also tabbed as the new Associate Head Coach.

With a different looking regime and a highly-touted recruiting class coming in, here’s five things to watch for on Saturday afternoon.
