Maryland State Flag

Next to Under Armour, it’s almost something that some fans may take for granted.

There’s arguably not another state that has a more recognizable state flag than that of Maryland. The Old Line State combines a unique combination of black, red, and yellow. Nearly every Terp fan has some type of clothing that has the colors of the Maryland flag on it.

This also ties in with Under Armour as the school has had several instances where the state flag was incorporated into a uniform. Whether it was on the helmet or in the numbers, the state flag was usually well represented.

“Maryland Pride” is a very powerful thing and it’s been something that can be sold to recruits. That’s one thing that Edsall got right. He capitalized on the state flag and preached pride for your hometown school. Fans definitely have to love what this flag represents and the overall look of it.
