Under Armour

This is honestly one of the coolest things about the University of Maryland. Maryland is Under Armour’s flagship school, which shouldn’t come as a surprise considering Founder/CEO Kevin Plank played football for the Terrapins.

The basketball and football teams are always getting new uniform combinations every year. It’s been the norm for each team to debut at least one new uniform every season. Football uses the Black, White, and now Red Ops uniforms quite frequently. The basketball team debuted the Red Ops earlier this season and just used the Gold Rush yellow uniforms against Ohio State on Saturday.

Plank really hooks the Terps up and it’s also a big recruiting tool. What 18 year-old doesn’t want to sport the most innovative and flashy uniforms when they’re making plays on the gridiron or the hardwood? The answer is none.
