Georgetown

When: Nov. 15
Where: Verizon Center (part of Gavitt Tipoff Games)
The Skinny: The Hoyas are coming off a brutal 15-18 season that featured losses to Monmouth, Radford, and UNC-Asheville. Leading scorer D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera (16.2 points) and big man Bradley Hayes have graduated, so their production will have to replaced.

Georgetown will depend on a pair of juniors in Isaac Copeland and L.J. Peak to carry the majority of the scoring load. Peak showed flashes of brilliance last season as he finished in double figures in the last 15 games. Sophomore center Jessie Govan will look to improve on a mediocre freshman campaign and be one of the more dominant big men in the Big East. If Govan figures it out, the Hoyas could make some noise.
