The Maryland basketball team had one of the most talented starting fives around during the 2015-16 season.

On Thursday, Robert Carter, Jake Layman, Diamond Stone, and Melo Trimble will descend upon Chicago for the NBA Draft Combine. The Terrapins have the most representatives of any school with the likes of Kansas, Kentucky, and North Carolina only having three.

Rasheed Suliamon missed out on being invited to Chicago, but it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if he latched on somewhere and made a team in training camp.

The 2016 draft is a stark contrast to the 2015 NBA Draft where only Dez Wells had a chance of being selected.

As things currently stands, it’s up in the air as to whether Maryland will have any players selected in the first round. We’ll take a look at each player and what they have to do in order to impress NBA scouts.
