Quinton Jefferson

Jefferson was the final Terp to be drafted, but certainly brings loads of potential to the equation for the Seahawks. After all, some analysts had Jefferson being selected before Ngakoue in the draft.

Similar to Davis, Jefferson is actually walking into a decent situation with his new squad. Seattle just lost star defensive tackle Brandon Mebane to the San Diego Chargers during free agency and there’s not a ton of stability at the position. Former Browns star Ahtyba Rubin should be one of the starters at defensive tackle, but there’s not much certainty after that. Former Terp A.J. Francis could factor into the rotation, but he hasn’t played much during his NFL career. The 6’3, 289-pound linemen also has versatility as he can play both end and tackle. Jefferson certainly could figure into the defensive line rotation early on.

Jefferson is a very motivated player when it comes to football. While he may not be a star in the NFL, he should be incredibly productive at the defensive tackle spot.
