The Maryland football team could have multiple players that have their names called in this weekend’s NFL Draft.

NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock has released his latest 100 player rankings and he has three Terrapins making the cut. Mayock has cornerback/safety Sean Davis at No. 83, defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson at No. 87, and defensive end Yannick Ngakoue at No. 96.

According to the list, Davis is the 14th ranked defensive back and has been projected to be selected in the second or third round.

It’s interesting that Mayock has Jefferson slotted ahead of Ngakoue. It’s obviously very likely that Davis will be the first Terp off the board due to his versatility, but Ngakoue is definitely the higher profile player of the two Maryland defensive linemen.

Jefferson comes in as the No. 14 defensive tackle on Mayock’s rankings while Ngakoue is the No. 13 defensive end.

Davis, Jefferson, and Ngakoue are the only three Terps that are likely to be drafted. Kicker Brad Craddock was hurt by a less-than-stellar senior season and isn’t likely to be drafted. He certainly has the ability to wow a team in training camp later this summer.

At the top of the list, Mayock has North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz at No. 1, who is guaranteed to go to the St. Louis Rams or Philadelphia Eagles with the top two picks. Surprisingly, California quarterback Jared Goff is Mayock’s 10th-best prospects on the list.
