No. 5 Dwayne Haskins

While the 2015 season has a train wreck for Maryland, this is one thing that can get Terp fans excited for the 2016 season and that’s incoming recruit Dwayne Haskins. Haskins committed to Maryland back in May and has done his part recruiting some of the top local talent to join him in College Park. This is one of the top pro-style quarterbacks in the nation and he spurned offers from just about every high-profile program to play his college football locally.

As bad it has looked at times, Maryland has have some remarkable pieces for the future as long as Haskins honors his commitment and signs on with the Terps. Haskins will be throwing to the likes of Jahrvis Davenport, Avery Edwards, fellow 2016 commit Tino Ellis, and D.J. Moore. Maryland fans have gravitated towards Haskins even before he pledged to the Terps. This is a special type of recruit that only comes around every so often. This kid has the potential to be a game-changer for the Maryland football program.
