Maryland Football vs. Iowa: Live Game Thread

Welcome to the live game thread for Maryland football versus Iowa, which is the eighth game of the 2015 season!

Terrapin Station is happy to be back with you to watch Maryland football. The Terrapins are coming off a tough 31-30 loss against Penn State last Saturday. It was the season debut for interim coach Mike Locksley as he takes over for Randy Edsall.

Maryland turned in a pretty solid performance against a good Penn State defense. One of the biggest surprises was the fact that the Terps held Saquon Barkley to just 65 yards on 20 carries and Nittany Lion running backs to just 1.5 yards-per-carry.

Quarterback Perry Hills turned in another strong performance on the ground as he led the team in rushing for the second consecutive game. Unfortunately, he throw three interceptions, including one in the final minutes that sealed Maryland’s fate.

Maryland will have to put that loss behind them as they travel to Iowa on Saturday for a date with the undefeated Hawkeyes. Iowa appears to have the Big Ten West Division all but wrapped up and a likely date with Michigan State or Ohio State in the conference title game.

We encourage you to get involved in our live game thread and comment below as you watch all the action. The Terrapin Station staff will be hanging out and talking about the game.
