No. 4 Shelton Gibson

In recent years, the Mountaineers have had steady production at the wide receiver position, and that hasn’t changed in 2015. While he only has six receptions through two games, Shelton Gibson has 211 yards through the air to go along with two touchdowns.

When you look at Gibson, he reminds you of former West Virginia star Tavon Austin. Obviously, he’s not quite as small and maybe not as quick. However, Gibson is a very shifty wideout that excels on hitch routes, and showed that against Liberty. The Ohio native recorded a 52-yard touchdown catch-and-run last week and just looked flawless in the open field. With Jovon Durante and Daikiel Shorts also being options through the air, the Mountaineers aerial attack is going to be very tough for the Terps to stop this weekend.
