No. 1 Marlon Mack

As was previously mentioned, the running game is the straw that stirs the drink for the Bulls. Mack is South Florida’s prized possession and the team rides him like a workhorse. Mack has already rushed for 241 yards on 41 carries and a touchdown in 2015, including 18 rushing attempts against a very stingy Florida State defense. Despite not being the biggest guy in the world, Mack is very tough at the point of contact.

The Sarasota, Fla. native excels at running between the tackles and keeps his legs churning throughout the entire play. Mack has topped the century mark five times during his brief Bulls career and continues to improve. Maryland’s rush defense hasn’t been very strong to start the season as they’re allowing 201.9 yards-per-game, which is 12th in the Big Ten alone. There is hope because the Terps held Mack in check in last year’s game (only 73 rushing yards on 22 carries). It’ll take a similar type performance to stifle South Florida on Saturday.
