7.) Penn State (1-0)

Last Week: 26-24 win over Central Florida

Penn State is ranked this high because they won, not because I’m positive they’re this good. This UCF isn’t the same UCF from a season ago, as they lost a lot of starters on offense (including NFLers Blake Bortles and Storm Johnson). I wasn’t impressed with the playmakers on Central Florida, and yet Penn State still struggled. Christian Hackenberg went absolutely nuts with 487 yards passing, but their running game looked terrible and he threw two picks. They’re going to need more effort all-around when they take on Rutgers in week three.
