2.) Brandon Ross v Wes Brown v Albert Reid

The running back battle between juniors Brandon Ross and Albert Reid and redshirt sophomore Wes Brown doesn’t have a lot of time left to sort itself out. As it stands, the incumbent Ross remains king of the hill after displaying an impressive all-around game during the preseason. Where Ross has stood out is with his pass-blocking ability in particular, something Maryland needs a lot of if they’re to have success through the air this year.

But that’s not to say Reid and Brown aren’t going to contribute. Reid has been relatively steady this offseason, while Brown is still shaking off the rust after missing all of last year due to suspension. Brown is a fantastic natural talent, and the staff has hinted he’ll likely play a pretty sizable role for the Terps this year. All three are worth coming out to take a look at, though (even if your opinion doesn’t count).
