  • Pete Volk over at TestudoTimes did a fantastic job of rounding up all the recruiting news that’s gone on recently here, so read away. It’s impressive to me that they’re still going after Chinanu Onuaku, as that creates a jam in the front court. But still, attrition has to be factored in.
  • The college basketball countdown is officially beginning, and USA Today Sports’ Scott Gleeson has Maryland pegged at No. 43 in their field of 68. In case you were wondering, yes, that’s in the tournament. I’m ecstatic about that ranking given that the Terps lost Len and Padgett but still stand to improve.
  • Jeff Barker of the Baltimore Sun gives us an update on Darius Kilgo and Cole Farrand, and why they didn’t start last week but Will Likely start against Connecticut. Also, tidbits about Will Likely becoming a legitimate leader.
  • Alex Twine may not be starting over Matt Robinson, but that doesn’t mean he’s not putting together a solid season so far doing other things. Let’s just say, he’s a pretty special guy. In all seriousness, it’s players like Twine who buy into a system completely that ensure a team turns into a cohesive unit. (Prewitt, Washington Post)
