Greivis Vasquez Traded To Hornets

Former Maryland star Greivis Vasquez has been traded from the Memphis Grizzlies to the New Orleans Hornets after only one season in Tennessee.

The point guard was traded for Quincy Pondexter, the former Washington standout. In his rookie year, Vasquez averaged 3.6 points and 2.2 assists per game in 70 appearances.

Vasquez will most likely serve as the back-up point guard for New Orleans, behind starter Jarrett Jack.
