No. 4 Safety

The secondary did get a boost with the addition of former Florida cornerback J.C. Jackson last week. However, the safety position is still very uncertain.

Prior to training camp, it appears that Denzel Conyers and Josh Woods could be the starters. However, that’s definitely not set in stone. Former cornerbacks like Antwaine Carter and Alvin Hill along with true freshmen Elijah Daniels and Qwuantrezz Knight could also be in the mix for playing time.

With A.J. Hendy and Anthony Nixon both having graduated, there will be two new starters back there regardless of who wins the jobs. There’s going to be a ton of new blood in the secondary, so it’ll be interesting to see who stands out prior to the season.
