On Thanksgiving Day, we take a look at five things that Maryland Terrapins fans should be thankful for. Enjoy the list and leave your comments below.

It’s certainly been an interesting year in the world of the Maryland Terrapins.

The 2014-15 men’s basketball season offered tremendous promise and hope. The Terps finished second in the Big Ten and proved that coach Mark Turgeon has the right hire when Gary Williams decided to retire back in 2011.

The men’s lacrosse team proved that they can be a force no matter what conference they compete in.

The most concerning was the football program, which ended up firing Randy Edsall halfway through the season. Mike Locksley currently is leading Maryland, but it appears as though the school will elect to go the route of an outside hire when the offseason arrives.

Happy Turkey Day Terp fans!
