Maryland Football vs. Wisconsin: Game Info, Live Stream, & More

Maryland football is set to host Wisconsin on Saturday, so here’s all the information you need to know about the game and a primer:

The Terrapins continue to search for their first Big Ten victory. Even with an abundance of turnovers against Iowa last week, Maryland still found themselves with a chance to win against the No. 10 team in the nation.

One of the positives this season has been the play of quarterback Perry Hills. Hills lost the starting job during the second game of the season against Bowling Green, but has started the last three games for the Terps.

Hills has rushed for over 100 yards in three consecutive games, which makes him the first Maryland player to achieve that feat since Lance Ball in 2005. Coach Mike Locksley has catered the offense more to the skill set of Hills, which has made the Terps more of a balanced offense.

Maryland will welcome a battle-tested Wisconsin squad that is coming off an impressive 48-10 victory against Rutgers last week. The Badgers were aided by the return of star running back Corey Clement, who hadn’t played since Wisconsin’s season opener against Alabama.

Wisconsin also features quarterback Joel Stave, who has been the target of criticism despite being one of the more productive signal callers in program history. Stave had success against the Terps defense in last year’s meeting.

Wisconsin’s bread and butter is their star running backs running behind their big offensive line. Despite losing star center Dan Voltz for the season, the Badgers are still averaging 158.8 rushing yards per contest.

Maryland is looking for the game to be a bit more competitive than last season’s 52-7 rout.
