There is a prison in a more ancient part of the world, a pit where men are thrown to suffer and die. That pit is actually West Lafayette, and the pit decided to spit out Purdue’s secondary. Antoine Lewis (SR), Frankie Williams (JR)., Landon Feitcher (SR), and Anthony Brown comprise this year’s secondary.

Look, when your backup quarterback cracks the depth chart at secondary, there are usually issues with your team at a more fundamental level. That’s what happened with Rob Henry and Purdue last season, and there’s no easy fix for that. Sure, the team returns Anthony Brown (60 tackles), who moved from safety to corner, and Frankie Williams (53.5 tackles but 5’9″), but the squad has no big playmakers. The unit has potential, but it’s a long, long road to that.
