We’ve got another Podcast for you guys, this time with myself, co-editor Chris Bengel and staff writer Ahmed Ghafir. The Terrapins have had some major news recently when they were shocked by the recent de-commitment of Kareem Ali to Temple University, but they made up for it today when the commitment of Mike Majette was announced. We’ll get into whether or not this makes up for the loss or it’s just a symbolic showing, and Maryland is in trouble with depth.

We also discuss the incredibly interesting tweets sent out by CBS Sports college basketball analyst Jon Rothstein after he visited the Terrapins over the weekend to see them practice. He had some really complimentary things to say about Melo Trimble, Dion Wiley, but interestingly enough, Michal Cekovsky. Was Cekovsky the biggest steal of the offseason? Will he actually be a starter right away like some are suggesting?

Finally, we give you all some updates on the Peach Jam and a few of the prospects in particular that were in attendance. Esa Ahmad (playing for All Ohio Red) had a huge weekend and did tons for his overall stock (check his stats here at the EYBL main page), as did Chris Clarke (playing for Boo Williams). Meanwhile the situation about who Maryland is really going after at the point guard spot got a little more interesting, as Justin Robinson (Boo Williams) had a tougher go of things over the weekend and Anthony Cowan was absolutely on fire, and had some great things to say about the Terps.

As always, please leave comments and suggestions below.
