The Maryland Terrapins have a pretty brutal schedule for their first season in the Big Ten. According to Phil Steele, it’s the 40th-toughest schedule in the country, and the 6th toughest in the B1G. That may not seem like it’s that daunting, but consider that Maryland played the 62nd toughest schedule in the country last year and came out with seven wins. Well, jumping 20 spots is a big deal for a team like Maryland.
