- Robert Carter Jr., the Georgia Tech transfer who happens to be one of the remaining hot commodities in the unofficial NCAA free agent market, has said he is interested in a lot of schools. As I’m currently in Atlanta, I’ve heard from a couple folks familiar with the situation that Carter is headed to Auburn. Still, InsideMDSports.com has their own information suggesting he’s headed to Maryland following his visit next week. Now, Carter Jr., is also looking at Kansas, as we’d already known. Basically, no one has any idea where Robert Carter Jr. is going to land, which should give Terps fans some confidence. (KCKingdom.com)
- Every offseason TestudoTimes.com does their Profiles In Terpage, and this season is no different. Up now for them is cornerback William Likely, last season’s best freshman for the Terps. So take a minute and educate yourself on the little speedster from Muck City, courtesy of Andrew Emmer.
- Maryland’s latest 2015 recruit, McDonogh’s Ellis McKennie, is an offensive lineman and like most of them, their tape is incredibly difficult to breakdown without a trained eye. Here it is broken down so you don’t have to! Considering his size and the high school he attends, there’s a good chance he’s a quality player; seeing film back that assessment up is encouraging. - There was some (likely one-sided) speculation that West Virginia transfer Eron Harris was interested in the Terps, but now it looks like that isn’t going to be the case. Schools that are closer to his home in Indianapolis appear to be in play, but more importantly is that he heads to the Big Ten. (NBCSports)
