Terrapin Takes: Recruiting, Boston College, and More

  • Well, at least one ongoing recruiting saga has finally come to an unfortunate end. Na’Ty Rodgers, the four-star offensive lineman from McDonough, has decided on a college. Hint: it isn’t Maryland. (WaPo)
  • In case you missed it, there’s even more drama dealing with Maryland’s move to the Big Ten. This time, Maryland has decided to sue the ACC over their exit-fee. Personally, the Terrapins shouldn’t have to pay a red cent to Swofford. (Bloomberg)
  • I tell you with some amount of embarrassment felt on our site, that the Maryland Terrapins Women’s basketball team is dominating once again and not receiving nearly as much coverage. Their most recent example of excellence? A big win over Georgia Tech. Everyone should start paying closer attention to the Lady Terps. (ESPN)
  • I know little to nothing about gymnastics and what constitutes greatness, but I do know that Kathy Tang and the Terrapins gymnastics team is doing very well (aesthetically and physically) at No. 17 in the nation — and getting better! (UMTerps)
  • The Maryland Terrapins men’s basketball team is expecting even more changes, this time in the form of starting lineup adjustments. The move makes sense, considering the ineptitude of the starting five in the first half against North Carolina. Tinkering with the roster is necessary for a team that has lost three of their last four games. (Testudo Times)
  • The Boston College Eagles want to send the Maryland Terrapins off with one final home loss at Comcast, but can they? (BCInterruption)
