Two Terps, Including D.J. Adams, Suspended For Miami Game

It appears the mystery of D.J. Adams’ absence from the two-deep has finally been solved.

Both Adams and reserve offensive tackle Cody Blue will not be available to play against Miami on Labor Day after violating team rules, coach Randy Edsall announced today. There was no indication of what team rule was violated.

Adams rushed for 239 yards and 11 touchdowns last season as a redshirt freshman, and Blue played in three games as a backup lineman.

Adams was expected to compete for the starting running back job, but was nowhere to be found when the two-deep was released earlier this week. Davin Meggett is the starter at running back for the Terps, while redshirt freshman Jeremiah Wilson and true freshman Justus Pickett are holding down the backup spot.
