Football isn’t the only sport where undrafted free agents from Maryland signed today. Former Terps power forward Dino Gregory is joining the Sundsvall Dragons in the Swedish Basketball league, according to his Twitter account.

One of the best post defenders in the ACC over the past two years, Gregory finished his Maryland career averaging 4.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game. He was a key contributor off the bench in his junior season before taking over the starting power forward role in his senior year. Last season, Gregory was Maryland’s fourth-leading scorer (9.1 points per game) and second-leading rebounder (5.8) and blocker (1.3).

Sundsvall has won the league title in two of the past three years, and are one of the more successful teams in the Swedish Basketball League. Gregory joins former Temple forward Alex Wesby as the only Americans on the roster.

Best of luck to Dino in his pro ventures.
