Men’s Soccer Announces Another Great Signing Class

It’s hard to really cover soccer recruiting, as there’s not much information available on the topic, but we try to do our best here at Terrapin Station. Sasho Cirovski has announced his newest signing class, and once again, it’s a good one. Here’s the class in full:

Keith Cardona – 6’4″, 200 goalie from Ridgewood, N.J.
Dan Metzger – 5’9″, 155 midfielder from Staten Island, N.Y.
Kyle Roach – 5’10″, 185 defender from Plainsboro, N.J.
Alex Shinsky –  5’9″, 150 midfielder from York, Pa.
Jordan Tatum – 6’2″, 185 goalie from Manassas, Va.

A few things stand out – Cirovski doesn’t have an international flair to this class, like he has in some of his more recent ones. He also doesn’t have any players from Maryland, although they’re all from the area.

Shinsky is the star of the class. He has played in the US Youth Academy and is TopDrawerSoccer’s top rated recruit. The kid might start as a freshman – he’s just really, really good.

Other rankings from TDS:

Metzger – #14 in the class, #3 in NJ region

Roach – #63 in the class, #6 in NJ region

Cardona – #9 in NJ region

Another great class from Cirovski, and I’m pumped to see these kids playing next year, especially Shinsky and Metzger.
