The #7 Terps had no problem with in-state rivals Loyola yesterday, as they eased to a 3-0 victory. An own goal in the 39th minute gave the Terps the lead, while Patrick Mullins and Matt Oduaran also scored for Maryland. It was Mullins’ first goal of his collegiate career.
Zac MacMath recorded his second shutout of the season, and the Terps moved to 2-1-1 on the year.
Player of the Game – Ethan White. Loyola midfielder Danny Ankrah created a lot of chances on goal, but White and the rest of the Terrapin defenders were able to complete the shutout.
