Men's Soccer Preview - 09/05/2010

The Terps are looking to rebound after a gut-wrenching loss to Michigan State last night in overtime. They currently stand at #6 in the nation, and will face off against the Colonial Athletic Association’s Northeastern Huskies Sunday night. Matt Kassel, Kaoru Forbess, and Doug Rodkey all scored for Maryland against the Spartans.

The Huskies lost to Georgetown in their season opener last night, and went 1-1 in their two exhibition games (a win against U-Mass Lowell and a loss to Boston University). Last year, Northeastern went 10-8-1, including 8-2-1 in conference, for a third place CAA finish. They return their top three scorers from last season – Don Anding (seven goals, two assists), Mike Kennedy (four goals, five assists), and Nick Lueders (five goals, two assists.
