2010 four-star wide receiver Adrian Coxson has reportedly transfered from the University of Florida to Maryland. As he was not released from his letter of intent, Coxson will still have to sit out a year before playing with the Terps, but this is a huge get for coach Friedgen that drastically changes the depth situation for Maryland’s passing game. Coxson was the seventh best prospect in the state of Maryland according to Rivals.com, and among the top 40 wide receivers nationally.
Coxson may be bringing Jordan Haden with him, another 2010 four-star recruit from Maryland who committed to Florida. Haden, the younger brother of Cleveland Browns’ first round pick Joe Haden, is a safety who is also reportedly transferring to be closer to home, and was on campus today. Ranked the fourth best player in the state by Rivals and the 12th best safety in the nation, Haden comes with even more hype than Coxson. The thought of Haden and Titus Till as the two starting safeties for the Terps is one that makes me salivate.
